The inaugural iLead cohort group will consist of 12 members of the Thompson Leadership Team representing school- and district-based leadership. The primary benefits of the iLead cohort will be the time and support to develop and implement a vision for contemporary teaching and learning in their school or organizational unit.

iLead Cohort Members will…

  1. Attend a “kick-off” event on Monday, July 19, at 1pm(?) for visioning and goal setting.
  2. Meet 7 additional times during the 2010-2011 school year for skill-building and collaboration with other cohort members. We will meet on teacher-directed Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 except during August, December, and May.

  3. Cultivate and interact with a personal learning network of colleagues from within TSD and around the world.
  4. Create and maintain a blog on the thompsonblogs.org domain as a platform for sharing and reflection.
  5. Receive an iPad to support their work.
